Do you think that cell phones should be permitted to be used in school?
August 2, 2010, 2:58 amDo you think that you should be able to use cell phones in school? Cell phones are usefull becaue if someone needs to contact you with an urgent message, they would have to call the school, then the school would call you down to the office, then you would be told. You SHOULD be able to use phones in school because of this reason. People say you shouldn't be able to, because 1 out of 15 people cheat with camera capabilities, and using text messages. You shouldn't punish people for one persons actions. Please leave reasons and explain them. =D -

Why don't cell phone companies ever have a semi-annual, or holiday sale on prepaid phones? ?
July 29, 2010, 11:39 amI'm a VZW prepaid customer. I was just at Best buy today, and I noticed that they were having all kinds of sales on cell phones. They had the Glyde for $30, marked down from $400, the Voyager for free, etc. So I was wondering, why don't cell phone companies ever have prepaid cell phone sales? And, why can't you buy like any phone and make it prepaid? I don't have a job, so I can't have a monthly billed phone. I hate always getting stuck with a slow phone that constantly freezes, while my friends have these actual working phones. Like why can't I go and buy an iPhone or LG Dare and activate it prepaid? WHy do I have to choose from a list of like 5 phones? I mean why* Ahh, that makes me so mad. So what if we don't pay as much? I don't have a job, it's not like I make a weekly salary to where I can pay for my phone, and my parents said they won't pay for it. I still pay the company money. -
What number could I dial to use up cell phone minutes fast?
July 28, 2010, 7:22 amMy mother passed away and she had a prepaid cell phone that has a lot of minutes left on it and they won't let me close the account until I use up the minutes. I'm wondering if there is some way to call a number that wouldn't reach anyone but that will use up the minutes fast, like some kind of automated international number or something? I don't want to call family or friends because then it uses up their minutes. -
Will the police bother to track a runaways cell phone?
July 27, 2010, 4:33 amSay if a 14 year old ran away from home and left a note telling her parents that she is okay or something. Will the police bother to try to track her down on her cell phone? Or is that too "advanced". Honestly, I think police never really care about their job... They only get paid to act like they want to help people. Do police only track phones in crimes and serious stuff or for any request by parents searching for their kids?
