Question
Say if a 14 year old ran away from home and left a note telling her parents that she is okay or something. Will the police bother to try to track her down on her cell phone? Or is that too "advanced". Honestly, I think police never really care about their job... They only get paid to act like they want to help people. Do police only track phones in crimes and serious stuff or for any request by parents searching for their kids?

Answer
It wouldn't be a "request." Your parents would file a missing person's report, in which case you would become a police matter. Don't even bother trying. You'll end up back home in 6 hours, you'll be grounded forever, and you will have caused your parents undue anguish. It's really selfish and immature of you to want to run away.
